PBS and Time Celebrate Emmy Winny for "A Year in Space" Digital Video Series

Time Inc. and PBS Win a 2017 News & Documentary Emmy ® Award for A Year in Space

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Time Inc. (NYSE:TIME) and PBS won a 2017 News & Documentary Emmy ® Award in the "Outstanding Science and Technology Documentary" category for A Year in Space, adapted from TIME’s original digital video series about astronaut Scott Kelly’s 12-month stay on the International Space Station. The 38th Annual News & Documentary Emmy ® Awards were presented last night (Thursday, October 5, 2017) at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York City.

A Year in Space originally aired on PBS in March 2016. The series’s second installment, Beyond A Year in Space, is scheduled to air on PBS November 15, 2017 at 9:00 p.m. ET. TIME’s original yearlong, 12-part digital video series, produced by Time Inc. Studios, debuted in 2015 and can be found at time.com/space. A Year in Space can also be found on Time Inc.’s PeopleTV.
