Zadan and his partner Neil Meron produced ABC's Academy Awards telecast from 2013 to 2016. He produced the original "Footloose" (1984), among several films. He produced NBC's recent string of live musicals, beginning with 2013's "The Sound of Music Live!" up to this year's "Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert."
