Acclaimed director and Oscar-winning screenwriter, Barry Jenkins, will direct the film. "Be My Baby" is also the title of the biggest hit song recorded by "The Ronettes," the girl group Spector fronted.
HARRY POTTER - From Deadline: British actor-comedian, Nick Frost, is reportedly set to play "Rubeus Hagrid" in HBO's "Harry Potter" series.
DISNEY - From WorldofReel: Disney sets about blaming Rachel Zegler for the box office failure of its latest film, "Snow White." [Maybe, it's Disney's over-reliance on old IP that is the problem.]
MOVIES - From Deadline: Sony Pictures' shark thriller is now called "Shiver," instead of "Beneath the Storm." The film is set for a Summer 2026.
BOX OFFICE - From BoxOfficePro: The winner of the 3/21 to 3/23/2025 weekend box office is Walt Disney's "Snow White" with an estimated take of 43 million dollars.
MOVIES - From WorldofReel: Universal Pictures has lost the rights to the "Jason Bourne" franchise. Netflix, Apple, and Skydance are vying to obtain them. All have had meetins with the estate of the late author Robert Ludlum, who created Jason Bourne for a series of novels known as "The Bourne Trilogy" (or simply "Bourne"), beginning with "The Bourne Identity" (1980).
