The next chapter of COSMOS, announced in celebration of what would have been visionary Carl Sagan’s 85th birthday this Saturday, Nov. 9, continues the legacy of the groundbreaking series co-written with Ann Druyan and Steven Soter, which was broadcast to a global audience 40 years ago. COSMOS: POSSIBLE WORLDS airs on Nat Geo in 172 countries and 43 languages and on FOX this summer. The previous season was seen by over 135 million people worldwide.
This Emmy-winning, worldwide phenomenon is the brainchild of Emmy and Peabody Award winner Ann Druyan, creative director of NASA’s legendary Voyager Interstellar Message, who serves as creator, executive producer, writer and director, and Emmy-winning and Academy Award-nominated executive producers Seth MacFarlane (“The Orville,” “Family Guy”), Brannon Braga (“The Orville,” “Star Trek”) and Jason Clark (“The Orville,” “The Long Road Home”).
Neil deGrasse Tyson, an astrophysicist with the American Museum of Natural History, host of the four-time Emmy-nominated “StarTalk” series and best-selling author (Death by Black Hole,” “Letters from an Astrophysicist), returns as host and series executive science editor. The first two seasons of the COSMOS television series transported a global audience to the farthest reaches and most deeply hidden recesses of the universe. In the course of those journeys, the series dramatized the lives of many of the forgotten searchers who contributed to the world’s understanding of who, when and where we are in the universe. COSMOS: POSSIBLE WORLDS will venture to previously uncharted territories.

60th Annaul (2018) Grammy Award Nominations - Complete List
The Grammy Awards (or Grammys) are given out by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS) of the United States. The Grammy is an accolade that recognizes outstanding achievement in the music industry. It is the music industry equivalent to the Academy Awards for film, the Emmy Awards for television, and the Tony Award for stage.
The nominees for the 60th Annual GRAMMY Awards in a total of 84 categories were announced Tuesday, November 28, 2017. The 60th Annual Grammy Awards recognize the best musical (and some spoken word and video) recordings, compositions, and artists for the eligibility year that began on October 1, 2016 and ended on September 30, 2017.
The 60th Annual GRAMMY Awards will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The ceremony will broadcast live in high-definition TV and 5.1 surround sound on CBS from 7:30 – 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT). James Corden will return as host.

The 60th Annual Grammy Awards recognize the best musical (and some spoken word and video) recordings, compositions, and artists for the eligibility year that began on October 1, 2016 and ended on September 30, 2017.
The 60th Annual GRAMMY Awards will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2018, at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The ceremony will broadcast live in high-definition TV and 5.1 surround sound on CBS from 7:30 – 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT). James Corden will return as host.

American Museum of Natural History, founded in 1869, is one of the world’s preeminent scientific, educational and cultural institutions. The museum encompasses 45 permanent exhibition halls, including the Rose Center for Earth and Space and the Hayden Planetarium, where Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson serves as the Frederick P. Rose Director, as well as galleries for temporary exhibitions. It is home to the Theodore Roosevelt Memorial, New York State’s official memorial to its 33rd governor and the nation’s 26th president, and a tribute to Roosevelt’s enduring legacy of conservation.
