CULVER CITY, Calif. – Audiences at IMAX® 3D and other select theaters will have the chance to be the first to experience The Walk, the new motion picture event from Academy Award® winner Robert Zemeckis, when it is released exclusively in those theaters on Wednesday, September 30, 2015. The film, which has also been chosen as the opening night selection of the New York Film Festival, will then enter wide release on October 9, 2015.

(ACJ), the Japanese company for official anime streaming, to jointly announce the acquisition of the multi-territory media distribution rights for the anime series, ONE-PUNCH MAN.
Announced earlier this year, the ONE-PUNCH MAN anime is based on a bestselling manga series, created by writer ONE and artist Yusuke Murata, about an average-guy-turned-superhero who packs quite the punch! Three content distribution companies will join force to manage the digital distribution, home media, merchandise, and TV rights to the newly produced anime series for their respective territories.

Judge to Enter Schedule in Trademark Case Between Salt Lake Comic Con and San Diego Comic-Con International

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Salt Lake Comic Con (http://saltlakecomiccon.com/) announced today that a Federal Magistrate Judge indicated that he was going to enter a schedule of deadlines in the trademark case between it and San Diego Comic-Con International. The pretrial schedule is expected to be finalized by the end of July 2015. At issue is Salt Lake Comic Con’s use of the term “COMIC CON.” While the parties are no longer engaged in the District Court’s Early Neutral Evaluation process, Salt Lake Comic Con hopes nonetheless that an out-of-court resolution can still be reached. The details of the negotiations during the ENE period are to be treated by the parties as strictly confidential.
“We feel we have a responsibility not only to those fans, but to other comic cons around the country to reach a reasonable settlement.”
“We will continue to focus our efforts on seeking a favorable settlement and, at the same time, preparing for Salt Lake Comic Con 2015 this September,” said Dan Farr, Salt Lake Comic Con Founder and Show Producer. “Even with this legal issue we’re still going to have our best event yet.”

Created by Emmy Award-winning producer/director J.J. Johnson (Dino Dan) and Sinking Ship Entertainment (Odd Squad), the new season features the voice of Geena Davis (Grey’s Anatomy) and is aimed at children aged six through 11. Annedroids is a live-action adventure series about Anne, a young female scientist, her human friends and the android assistants she’s created, and the amazing scientific discoveries they make while undertaking the biggest experiment of them all: growing up. The series spotlights, through trial and error, how science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) can inspire children to do great things.

The second season of Annedroids finds Anne (Addison Holley, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood) and friends back in the junkyard for more experiments, taking their adventures to the next level. As Nick (Jadiel Dowlin) and Shania (Adrianna Di Liello, Stage Fright) return to school after spending their summer in the junkyard, Anne finds new ways to stay in touch using Pidgely, a pigeon with a broken wing she equips with a rocket suit. Pal (voiced by Millie Davis, Orphan Black) ventures outside the junkyard and expresses a desire to be a real kid. Also this season, a mysterious robotics scientist offers Anne the opportunity of a lifetime, forcing Anne to make some tough decisions about her friends, family and future. Along the way, the kids use DNA to track a lost dog, confront dinosaurs in nightmares, and send the androids to space.

THE CREATORS
Renowned for their dark, chilling stories on The Spectre series for DC Comics, as well as for their runs on Martian Manhunter, Batman Grotesk and The Kents, Ostrander and Mandrake are are thrilled to be collaborating once again on KROS: HALLOWED GROUND. “Working and creating together, we feed off each others energy,” says Ostrander. Mandrake adds. “Doing this graphic novel as a creator-owned project will allow us to take what we've done before to the next level.” Add to that mix Tom's daughter, Sian Mandrake, on color for the title. “My first thought was to do Kros as a black and white,” says Mandrake,” but Sian's color brings out the moody atmosphere I am going for with the art.”
THE KICKSTARTER
Tom Mandrake and John Ostrander have launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds their new Civil War era horror graphic novel, KROS: HALLOWED GROUND. “KROS has been waiting in the wings for far too long,” says Ostrander. “War is hell--war can also be a nightmare. War is always a horror story and we have a hell of a story to tell.” Mandrake, who recently traveled to Gettysburg to sketch the battlefields and to try to understand the scope of what took place there, agrees. “Many who have visited Gettysburg will swear they have seen a soldier standing on those battlefields. There is a haunting atmosphere there. Ghosts still walk.”
Ostrander and Mandrake are funding KROS: HALLOWED GROUND though Kickstarter because they want to bring their fans and readers the kind of story that is not often seen in mainstream comics. Mandrake adds. “Doing this graphic novel as a creator-owned project will allow us to take what we've done before to the next level.” Add to that mix Tom's daughter, Sian Mandrake, on color for the title. “My first thought was to do Kros as a black and white,” says Mandrake,” but Sian's color brings out the moody atmosphere I am going for with the art.”
THE KICKSTARTER
Tom Mandrake and John Ostrander have launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds their new Civil War era horror graphic novel, KROS: HALLOWED GROUND. “KROS has been waiting in the wings for far too long,” says Ostrander. “War is hell--war can also be a nightmare. War is always a horror story and we have a hell of a story to tell.” Mandrake, who recently traveled to Gettysburg to sketch the battlefields and to try to understand the scope of what took place there, agrees. “Many who have visited Gettysburg will swear they have seen a soldier standing on those battlefields. There is a haunting atmosphere there. Ghosts still walk.”
Ostrander and Mandrake are funding KROS: HALLOWED GROUND though Kickstarter because they want to bring their fans and readers the kind of story that is not often seen in mainstream comics. KROS: HALLOWED GROUND is a tale of supernatural obsession, the horror of war and of the monster lurking within humankind.
